Komisioneri për të Drejtën e Informimit dhe Mbrojtjen e të Dhënave Personale

Head of authority: Besnik Dervishi was appointed Information and Data Protection Commissioner in 2014. 

 

He was re-elected for his second mandate on September 2019.  

 

Prior to this position, he served in the judicial system as judge and advocate, in public administration as Secretary-General, Deputy Minister, Minister and also Member of the Parliament. 

 

He graduated in 1986 from the Law Faculty of Tirana University. In his career, he has lectured at the Albanian School of Public Administration, the School of Magistrates and various universities of Albania.
