Mr. Martuza Ahmed joined as Chief Information Commissioner on 18th January, 2018. He was Secretary to The Ministry of Information of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh from 2013 to 2017.
He joined Bangladesh Civil Service in 1983 and served as a responsible government official over 30 years.
He represented Bangladesh as elected member of IPDC of UNESCO from 2014 to 2015. He completed Masters in English from University of Dhaka.
