1994 ‐ 2004: Legal advisor to the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
1992 – 1994: Senate Department of the Interior Berlin. Studied law and economics at the Georg‐August‐University in Göttingen, first state law examination in 1988, second state law examination in 1992.
On June 7th, 2012, she was appointed vice-president of the Commission d’accès à l’information by the National Assembly of Québec. She was appointed president of the Commission on December 5th, 2019, after acting as interim president for almost a year.
