Ombudsman (Cayman Islands)

Ms. Roulstone is an attorney with over 20 years experience at the Cayman Islands Bar. She has served on numerous public sector boards over several decades. For this service to her community, she was awarded the Queen’s Certificate & Badge of Honour (Cert. Hon) in 2010.

Sharon joined the Office of the Ombudsman in 2018 and was shortly thereafter seconded to a Government Ministry to oversee the establishment of the new Department of Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman (WORC) where she worked for 2 years.

With a Masters Degree in Law (University of Liverpool), Sharon is a strong advocate for justice. As head of the Complaints division, she understands the need for fairness and responsiveness in all investigations and is committed to delivering them.
