In the professional field, he has served as Director of the Statistics and Jurisprudence Unit, Director of the Specialized Sanctioning Procedures Unit, Study and Account Secretary, Diffusion and Publication Coordinator, Advisor and Assistant Secretary, all of them in the Electoral Court of Mexico City. In the academic field, Arístides Guerrero has stood out as a professor at the UNAM Law School. On December 18, 2018, he was appointed by the Plenary Session of the Congress of Mexico City to hold the position of Citizen Commissioner of the Institute of Transparency, Access to Public Information, Protection of Personal Data and Accountability of Mexico City.
