Draft resolution: “Transparency of public administration when using algorithms is indispensable for the protection of fundamental human and civil rights”

During the Closed Session of ICIC 2019 the Secretariat tabled a draft resolution on behalf the German Federal Commission for Data Protection and Freedom of Information on “Transparency of public administration when using algorithms is indispensable for the protection of fundamental human and civil rights”.

The Secretariat now invites comments, suggestions and proposed amendments on the text of the resolution from participants of the Closed Session. The Secretariat will then work to incorporate these and share a revised resolution with participants for adoption via written procedure.

Please send all comments, suggestions and proposed amendments (in addition to those already shared via email using track changes wherever possible) to the Secretariat ([email protected]) by 18:00 UST on Thursday 18 March.
