PhD of Constitutional Law, PhD of Law, Master’s degree in Commercial Law and a degree in Law and Social Sciences.

He has 22 years of professional experience in Human Rights, law and university teaching. He was Head of the Investigations Unit of the Human Rights Ombudsman (PDH) and advisor to the Human Rights office of the General Directorate of the Penitentiary System. He has proposed eight lines of work at the head of the PDH, focused on strengthening the institution, through a mandate oriented to the protection, defense and protection of Human Rights, and also efficiently and effectively fulfills results management for Guatemala.
