Case Summary:
1. Facts
An NGO demanded disaggregated, accurate and updated information from the Ministry of Health concerning the status and operation of mental health hospitals in the city. The Ministry gave a partial answer because of the complexity and volume of the information required, causing the NGO to submit a claim before OGDAI.
OGDAI considered the information request that motivated the claim had been responded to in this instance and accepted the agreement concluded between the NGO and the Ministry of Health establishing a new deadline for the disclosure of the information required.
Note (Optional):
In conformity with section 11, OGDAI held a hearing at which the parties to the proceeding were called upon and had the opportunity of defending their positions. Both the NGO and the Ministry of Health assumed obligations and agreed on setting a new deadline for the provision of the remaining information. Nevertheless, OGDAI reminded the parties its duty to supervise the Ministry’s compliance with its obligations under the agreement in particular and Act 104 in general.
