She worked at the legal department of the Commission d’accès à l’information, practiced law with private firms, was counsellor to the minister responsible for Access to information and the Protection of Personal Information and she was also the access to information and privacy officer at the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail. When she was appointed as an administrative judge to the Commission d’accès à l’information in July 2011, she worked at the legal department of the Tribunal administrative du Québec.

 

On June 7th, 2012, she was appointed vice-president of the Commission d’accès à l’information by the National Assembly of Québec. She was appointed president of the Commission on December 5th, 2019, after acting as interim president for almost a year.
