Has worked at the Office of the Yukon Ombudsman, Information & Privacy Commissioner (IPC) and Public Interest Disclosure Commissioner (PIDC) since 2018, first as Director of Intake and Informal Case Resolution, then as Deputy, and now as Ombudsman, IPC and PIDC.

Jason has worked in dispute resolution for more than 20 years, with roles as organizational ombudsman, mediator, auditor, privacy professional, consultant and educator. 

He was Ombudsman for a Canadian insurance company and Director of the Centre for Conflict Resolution Studies at the University of Prince Edward Island.

He has a Master’s Degree in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University.
