Diane McLeod-McKay was appointed as Yukon’s Ombudsman and Information and Privacy Commissioner in 2013. She also became Public Interest Disclosure Commissioner in 2015.
Previously, she served as Director of the Personal Information Protection Act for the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta. At the Calgary Health Region, she was responsible for Legal Services, Information and Privacy.
She worked as an information, privacy and security consultant and lawyer in British Columbia. Her practice focused on advising the private, public and health sectors on access and privacy legislation. She has been called to the bar in British Columbia, Alberta and Yukon.
